People were all shocked to hear

Republican Candidate wasn’t going to be there

Electing to go back to Washington

Settle the talks of a bailout of 700 Billion

I thought it was all stalling again

Democrats had seen this before from McCain

Every since February he had time to prepare

Nomination in the DNC was in July and he is aware

Then why would he even need to delay

It’s not like a 3:00am or the blink as Palin would say

Anyhow he went to the debate eventually

Looked pious and prepared but also rude and arrogant to me

Directing addresses to Barack but never looking him in the eye

Entertaining his followers with lie after lie

Belaboring Barack allege naivety

And twisting the meetings of his sub-committee

There are many who believe his shenanigans were great

Even though I listened with an open mind I was feeling irate
