3S - Strength

I read a poem recently for the first time since I first wrote it. The meaning was different and it affected me in a way that I wasn’t at first. Funny, the same thing happened with the re-reading of a Bible passage. I don’t mean to compare my works with the authors of the Bible, I only mean to say to you that sometimes love songs get painful to listen to

3S – Strength

Some poems have a life of their own

They will awaken senses as time has shown

Read them today and they are yet small

Enjoy more readings and soon they are bigger than all

Nuturing and taking root as they grow on you

God’s word is like the nurturing poem too

Take a read on days in uncertainty and in strife

His word will grow inside of you and give you new life
