Bells Are Jingling All Night

This collection of Acrostic Poetry by Khaidji contains only Christmas Season and New Year’s Greetings. The works offer some explanation for the reason for the season and why a Right Christmas can be a substitute for a White Christmas. This book is a great Corporate gift item and is equally suitable for friends at home and abroad. Note that the title spells out BAJAN

Bells Are Jingling All Night

Bajans everywhere

Eagerly spreading to all good cheer

Lights decorate the entire house

Lovers giving gifts to children and spouse

Some take pride in the food they’ll cook

And none of it done from a recipe book

Recipes are pass down from parents in wills

Even though grandmothers are the ones with skills

Jug jug and great cake and ham decked in cloves

Is a selection of treats keeping them busy on stoves

Now we may not see the early white snow

Got Christmas trees to cut where they naturally grow

Loud caroling on every corner of the street

In Malls Santas seated for the children to greet

No Ho Ho Hos or men dressed in the red and white

Got no elves in stores when we shop late at night

A Bajan Christmas is our best time of the year

Lots of children with merriment and bubbling with cheer

Laughter as friends go house to house hopping

Near exhaustion but we shop late with no stopping

I smell fresh furniture and see white painted guard walls

Gardens of Poinsettias bloom and Snow on the Mountain falls

Here is a collection of Season Greetings and good cheer

The sentiments are for you throughout the year
