Should all be giving of their best

Kudos to those who do but to the rest

I’ll say what went wrong

Lots of practice all year long

Let me understand it, why would you

Show so much interest all year just to do

Ordinary performances from what I have seen

Rotations mediocre like you’d never been

Saving for this day to show your best

Putting everything aside as you prepared for this contest

In the still rings, high bars, pommel horse they fall

Learn dismounts but can’t stick them at all

Lousy performances on the floor routine

Skills turn to spills at the Olympics in Beijing
