My Strongest Enemy

How do we fight back when the enemy seems so overwhelming? Start by believing you can cause if you don’t then go out and purchase your casket.  We have been told to think on the things that are positive.

Before you ran off thinking differently, like you are indestructible then hear this, I was once like you.

My Strongest Enemy

Menace sneaked up without warning

Yesterday you were good but not this morning

Started with numbness in your feet

Then it climbed up, your body felt beat

Repeating its onslaught the following day

Once started it didn’t go away

Now a strangeness in your right eye

Got double vision and for two days you did try

Eye doctors who made the same guess

Shows nerve damage so you need a Neurologist

They use MRI, CAT Scan and tapped your spine

Examine you closely to see what cause they can find

Neuritis in the eyes and the numbness in the body

Energy drain and the recent untreated cold malady

Made the specialist give you an unrelenting prognosis

Your body must be treated for Multiple Sclerosis
