Why You And Not Me

When I felt weak and drained

Had no might and my muscles pained

You did the same but always walked high

Your spirit seemed as though you could fly

Over all obstacles that sat in your way

Unable to stop you on even the worse day

All things aside why not me

Nothing I did seem so differently

Daytimes I worked hard just like you

Nights I rested and you did too

On the times to give, I always gave my best

Then why with all the personal success

My life seemingly complete doesn’t make me happy

Everything brings you joy so why you and not me
