Where Were You

However hard times become we are never alone. When times are difficult and indeed when they are good too, call on the Lord and give Him your praises

Where Were You

When all seemed lost

Homes shucked and trees were tossed

Everything was blown in churning winds

Rains threaten livestock if the flood begins

Eden was a sheltered neighborhood

Weather had always been to us good

Earthquakes and hurricanes never came

River banks held well and each year the same

Every one feared but not an ill word was spoken

You’d think by now our spirits would have been broken

On those days when I wasn’t sure what to do

Used my best resources then but where were you
