for the late Bernie Mac who in his comedic way brought me some entertainment
and some of life’s lessons. It is regretful that we don’t get to say to those
who may have influenced us directly a special thank you to let them know how
far reaching their work was but I feel sure that Bernie Mac was thankful to
give.

The Bernie Mac Show The Original King of Comedy Had made him more famous than his debut in Mo Money Everyone remembers Bernie in Get on the Bus But Ocean’s Eleven was better to us Exciting roles in Bad Santa and Full Throttle Roles in Charlie’s Angels and Transformers were joyful Not as joyful though as the Bernie Mac Show In it Americans loved the man they came to know Even Bajans watched with curiosity Many unwilling at first but later magnetically A man demonstrating the ills of men Caught in uncertainty of how to raise children Sometimes so wrong but sometimes so right He will be missed for his comical insight One thing he has left for all the world to see Who are impoverish can still have opportunity |
