Staying Neutral

If you ever find yourself playing referee and both side are disagreeable and ever decision you make is rebuked by the side the decision is against and then one day both sides confront you, then it is time to put down the whistle and let some one with greater or better authority carry the game. You cannot always negotiate every rapid and sooner or later you can become engulfed by the river.

Staying Neutral

Sure you are right but what do you do?

They hear but never listen to you

And your interference only cause them stress

You have to shut up, stand off, you must do less

It’s not about forcing them to what right

Nor telling them what not to do and what they might

Get cooperation and enjoyment should be the goal

None of them are evil or have sold their soul

Each wishes to be good but somehow you

Usually create disharmony and make them blue

The tendency to correct or direct is causing strife

Relax and let them be husband and wife

And stop being that catalytic wheel

Let them resolve their differences and express what they feel
