Come Before Christ

Although we would feel lonely there and will not miss those who weren’t, I still want to know that you’ll be there when He comes. I feel like I have failed those of my friends that I have not been able to convince to take the straight and narrow road. I feel like I have failed to play the part the Lord wanted for me. Dear friend, I apologize for my shortcomings and ask you to look beyond them and see my heart.  It was washed by the blood of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ and He through His love offer you too an invitation to His home.

Come Before Christ

Clouds blew over and they were dark

Our days felt dreary as they made their mark

Many people got lost and didn’t know where to go

Every one was groping and going to and fro

Brighter days now seemed years past

Each day I thought to spread His word fast

Friends and family with whom I needed to share

Over the drab time I must see that they hear

Right as I spoke our Savior’s name

Every one that I call never came

Clouds started to move back and finally a bright ray

Had pierce the dark and dreariness away

Regal music rung through the air

I was in awe myself cause the Savior was here

Some of your family and friends, He said, await you

The Savior took me to them all, I saw the two
