I Need Stability

Someone must do it but must it be me.

I would rather move on to a life of stability

Can’t take it no more I must get away

Kudos to my comrades who feel to stay

I Need Stability

It’s been a typical hard working day

Nothing matters now because I’m going away

Every thing I leave behind is immorality

Excessive depression and instability

Drunk drivers ramming pedestrians’ bodies

Shoplifters killing merchants for mere pennies

Traumatized rape victims wishing to forget

Abducted kids who haven’t turned 10 years old yet

Battered wives too afraid to press charges

Indolent homeless smothered by waves from the barges

Lawyers getting the guilty to go free

Innocents jailed by mistaken identity

There is too much corruption in the world today

Yesterday I asked the chief for my final day’s pay
