That Evil Seed

I wrote a poem Cut It Out that people may have gotten the wrong concept. I will never advocate that a mother should abort a child. What ever the circumstances of conception, it remain a life that only the Lord can give and this life may hold the answers to many questions or be the source of happiness to many. Cut it out means, stop these abortions and stop these rapes

That Evil Seed

The circumstances were cruel so the baby was given away

Her mother was force to conceive and forced again today

A strict grand father didn’t want the spawn of a rape

Thought it sacrilege to raise a child from a man like an ape

Evil begets evil is what they were told

Very surely the babe’s evil in time will unfold

In a twist of circumstances another lady

Lovingly wanted to raised the same baby

She only was to keep the babe for one day

Evening came and it was time to take it away

Except she had learnt the irreplaceable value of life

Depressed she handed her over to an eager, childless housewife
