Beyond The Roots

This is a collection of poems all with the same titles from my inspirations on Sundays. I am often moved to write them early in the morning but sometimes nothing comes to me until later in the day. They are not always religious although I file them under this category. On consistency so far is Song is always a song and Grace, Glory and Good are merged into a prayer

Beyond The Roots

By the time I had written this Religious book

Everyone was puzzled by the title at first look

You too would wonder if it was race or family

Ordinary words related to pedigree

Nomenclature is strange but this one has worth

Deep emotions reaching Beyond The Roots in the earth

The poems included here were all written on Sundays

Have the same structure and fashion in the same ways

Everyone is an acrostic based on my 3R’s, S and G’s

Reflection, Relaxation and Religion is the first of these

Once finish I write on Strength, Savior and then a Song

Onto Grace and Glory and finally Good all day long

These all serve as praise and prays to Our Lord Almighty

Sundays I give to the Lord for all He gives to me
