Walking On Ice

There are more dangers than sometimes seem obvious and often people take them for granted by following the way of others. When you think you are enjoying life you may be setting yourself up for you worse fall.

Walking On Ice

When the lake’s frozen over they get to play

A lot of kids come from places far away

Learning to skate or play hockey

Keeping their balance is their priority

I have always been too scared to play on the ice

News have it that people were lost at least twice

Got on a weaken area, fell in and drifted away

Our community was distraught by this immense dismay

No one may see you as you disappear

It happens fast and with the noise they can’t hear

Caring not to slip, skid and balance requires technique

Everyone is in serious danger though when the ice is weak
