Mandela's Legacy

Great people do great things and as history has it they come along just one in a generation. Sometimes we are luck to have the overlap and our nations are or should be much better off because of this. What ever we can learn from these great people and pass on it perpetuating their legacy and making the world a better place that how we found it.

Mandela’s Legacy

Mahatma Ghandi thought him to resist passively

And to face adversity with dignity

Nelson lived his life fighting for what’s right

Don’t give up when your cause is a noble plight

Even when faced with the harshest times

Let peace overwhelm thoughts of crimes

All that I’ve seen from him I now pass on

So my kids and there’s will be as strong

Lyricist wrote of men with great personality

Equal in rights, status and ability

God sends one along every once in a while

Able to change nations with their generous smile

Changing communities, cities, the world country by country

You’ll find this to be the great Mandela’s Legacy
