Doubting The Light
I have a friend
who prays and then when she sees no results, say what’s the use in praying.
Yet, when I look on at her life she seems to be blessed in so many ways. She is
surrounded by Christians even though she is not one. If you put a spotlight in
a persons face it may blind them to their surroundings and they will have
trouble moving on a clear path. Let the light shine away from them an all is
clear. The light of the Lord radiant from within us to light all around it but
it can be overwhelming when it shines on the non-believer

Doubting The Light Did I blind you with my light Or did I shine it a bit too bright Unable to walk, unable to see Being overwhelmed by me This glow from me can radiate Its light may sometimes inundate New minds astound may hide their face Got doubts of walking at my pace They may need indisputable proof Have difficulty accepting the only truth Eternity is their’s if they would only believe Life in Christ is beyond what they’ll perceive It’s a faith that through Him all can be done God shines His light upon everyone His light is bright for even your darkest day There’s no doubting the Father will lead the way |
