3R's - Relaxation

You still haven’t master the technique of sleeping at night. If you are like me you believe that the radio or the television can or must stay on, or may be a light. I have found that these things though you get hooked on them are distractive beyond your consciousness. Have you ever dreamt about the same thing that is going on, on the television in the same room? Do you notice the flashing light of a television in the room? All these are sure tell about the amount of neural activity that comes into play while you sleep.

 

3R’s – Relaxation

Remove all impedances and go to bed

Enjoy tranquility when you rest your head

Let no light flicker where you lay to rest

And you’ll attain the serenity to your very best

‘Xclude  the things you know you don’t need

A night light while you sleep, there’s nothing to read

The radio and TV that plays in the background

Is unnecessary and distractive, the experts have found

On them we rely but like most everything

Nothing ever matters if you have no peace within
