What Chance

I recently seen how often doctors get things wrong and unfortunately I’ve also seen the numbers of people who get so depressed by the information they received that they suffer with the diagnosis rather than live with the illness. We need never suffer. I tried to explain the difference between pain and ache and though many think of them as the same, I recognize that we only ache when we give into pain. Aching is a state of mind, a continuous, the condition of suffering from the symptoms of pain. It is therefore possible to have pain and not suffer or ache.

What Chance

What is the chance that she could now

Have this illusive disease somehow

And what is the chance that through one test

They could say with accurate diagnosis

Chances are they would need collaborate

Have more specialist doctors investigate

And even then I’ll challenge what I heard

Never giving these medical people the last word

Cause the Lord alone knows what inflicts us

Even though the doctors may diagnose it as Lupus
