The Energy Drain
How can we as a
country play our part in reducing our Carbon footprint which is directly
associated with energy wastage and effect Global Warming. Largely attributed to
these, oil prices have been going up. One should consider that each country now
has limited energy resources and must therefore limit them for essential work
and reduce leisure activities, especially when such activities are predominantly
an energy drain

The Energy Drain There is much talk of Global warming High oil prices influencing high cost of living Environmentalists’ concerns of resource wastages Experts saying nations need to turn new pages Now I hear our Minister with park and ride Energy of gas conserved so I’m on his side Regrets however that when presented on TV Got followed with the much touted sport, another Car Rally You should understand my fiery dismay Disgust in the wastage by our choices today Rallying cars are a sure act of resource depletion And promoting it exacerbates the fate of our Nation I dislike the sport for the senseless pain that follows it Now for it’s leisure wastage of fuels, it’s an unpatriotic
