3S - Strength

The Phoenix was a mythological bird which is said to have lived 500 years and swooped to its death in pyre, only to rise up again from the ashes.  Now symbolically this eagle like bird represents the strength of resurrection, an ability to rise from ones adversities to a new prosperity. I applaud the people of China who demonstrate even in all their pain, the unusual strength to grow again.

3S – Strength

Survivors dug from China’s debris

They lasted nine days in obscurity

Roads crumbled from under their feet

Earthquake devour them as they walk the street

No one can deny the strength needed to heal

Getting back on their feet is harder than you’ll feel

This Chinese Phoenix was obvious before

Hats off to the Chinese who have an iron will and more
