The Mom My Lord you have given us your glory You’ve tried us and tested our loyalty Shush our demons and made us stronger yet I got weary but I could never forget So when you told me I was like an ice block That we stood steadfast like a rock Even though you could melt us with divine heat Rejoin us if only we would intimately meet This miracle came so easily again How soon afterwards You had broken the chain Eased us to share and be a family Making us again a reality O Lord my children were drifting away My reunion ensures me a Blessed Mother’s Day |
