Happy Mothers' Day To You Pt2

I want to acknowledge those mothers that fought to give their kids the best life possible but felt like they had failed. I have seen the miracle of now of many cases that were unsuccessful. I have seen many new mother go through the painful stages of Brest feeding, the sleepless nights, teething, first crawl, standup, walk run and so much more of the early experiences. But I am aware of the early tragedies that mothers and families go through, like the lost of a newborn or toddler. Bringing up children is stressful and God’s miracle. We are blessed to have raised a health child to adulthood and mothers that have managed this are worthy of great respect.

Happy Mother’s Day To You

Hardships came from day one

And some days you felt like you were alone

Privately you thought that you couldn’t win

Perhaps you could take a day off, just for regrouping

You had advice from friends and was bombarded by family

Making uninvited comments when they would disagree

Or when you reached out for a helping hand

They turned away, were too busy, or didn’t understand

How you wanted to give of your very best

Except days were hard and at nights no rest

Regrets came but never for having your baby

So innocent when young and growing so sweetly

Didn’t think it could ever get harder

And then baby turned teen, what a disaster

You tried all you can, PTA, homework and more

The sleeplessness and worries now greater than before

One ray of hope came when your child had grown

You see its ease, if only you had known

Once you were introduced but over time you did stray

Up until now God has blessed you, have a Happy Mothers Day!
