She Turns Thirty Today

Her I am, playing with a song again. I wrote this to the rhythm and tune of “She was only sixteen”. Of course she is now much more than sixteen so I have tried to put her age into play. I’m sorry but this is fictional, except, I do know someone that turns thirty today. Have fun reading and I hope you wit is ripe. To Stacey Leacock

She Turns Thirty Today

She was turning thirty, just thirty

How I loved her so

Even though she doesn’t talk dirty

The gal could tantalize a bro

Unfortunate for guys, she doesn’t play

Respect to her is due

No plans to get lucky some day

So if you plan, you don’t have a clue

Then why did I give my heart so fast

Had never happened before

I need to find a gal who’ll last

Romance to peck my core

This gal is sweet, really so sweet

You’re happy with her to just lime

Though she wouldn’t cheat, she never would cheat

One love for her at a time

Do what you can, all that you can

And treat her a special way

Yes she has a man, a steady man

So just wish her a Happy Birthday!
