Earth Day
I am happy to see
the day when more people are Earth conscious and here is great effort to live
our lives in ways that we only marginally deplete the resources of Mother
Earth. It is good to know that people are closer to recognizing the importance
of the balance of flora and fauna. I love the study of Ecology and enjoyed
making little ecosystems when I was young. If only we can translate this childhood
hobbies into new lifestyles and create a living environment for all.

out from the things we do Animals
killed and Trees indiscriminately too Rivers, ponds,
lakes and streams disappear Then earthquakes
and tornadoes do their share Hurricanes
flood the lands then the sun dries them out Devastation looms
in the lands and all about All this could
be different a better future foreseen You’d have to
change your lifestyles and learn to live green |
