Blind Sight

Though I have not been so inflicted, I have come very close to being blind, but every time it happens, another lamp is lit in my soul and My Spirt gets brighter and stronger. Any opportunity to get closer to My Savior and His wonderful glory is a welcome moment in time. A tract was given to me recently and strange enough, it was printed in lager text, making it easier to read. It asked, What would I do about Jesus Christ? When I was young I used to leave the sweetest part of what I was eating for last and I never understood why people did the opposite. Some one told me, what if some one came and ask for some.  Well I still eat the best part last and I feel even more prepared to share the sweetness of Jesus.

Blind Sight

Blackness all around and the eyes can’t perceive

Light as bright as the Sun is as dark as mourners grieve

Incapacity brought on by a body diseased

Neuritis in the Optical left and right and other nerves teased

Don’t feel sorry about this for in blindness we can see

Sharpen senses soon heighten perceptibility

In the soul a spirit glows to brighten the day

God’s hand guides every step of the way

How great to be blind to the ills of society

To see with the heart and to see God’s glory
