One Hundred Years And Beyond

The has been so many promises to enhance peoples life despite the slow path in finding cures for diseases that have been around for many years now and researched for just as long. Strange as it may seem, people seem closer to finding the means to extending ones life expectancy than cures for illnesses. This is why there has also been parallel scientific research into cryonics. It all seems like science fiction but I can remember thinking those portable cordless devices like computers and telephones as well as voice recognition all from the Star Trek and 007 science flicks would never come to be in my life time. And here I am enjoying these technologies today.

One Hundred Years and Beyond

Over 84,000 centenarians live in the USA

No known special diet made them alive today

Every one of them has this same philosophy

Healthy living didn’t start at age 40

Unlike you in the 40’s these aging people know

Numbers in age are just the start of a new life show

Dreams never stop and fun has no age

Risk takes new forms as you turn a new page

Eagerness walks with you and never goes away

Doing right or wrong is still controlled by thought each day

Your wisdom grows and so too your youth

Everyday brings you closer to realizing this truth

And everyday getting older, looking back you’ll see

Ranges of youthfulness grew exponentially

Some people believe that a time will come

A time aging will be obsolete and though it sounds dumb

Nano-scientists through research are now on a path

Developing technology to increase the life expectancy graph

Barbara Walters featured them in her show last night

Enthusiastic scientists preparing to end the aging fight

You would seem dumb to them to think that 40 is old

Old idea maybe but as they doctrines unfold

No one again would ever be considered old at 40

Don’t write them off, this is breaking edge technology
