Your Breath Of Fresh Air

She called early this morning, gasping for a breath. I could hear the difficulty she was having but she seemed strong. I am glad she is surrounded by the sanctuary of God’s love. So many people when suffering with an asthmatic attack go into panic mode and lose focus. It is very hard to breath when you panic, imagine how much harder it must be to be panicking under the circumstances of an asthmatic attack. She remained clear headed and focused and under God’s care.

Your Breath of Fresh Air

Tightening in the chest and its hard to breathe

Her morning didn’t take the change she had believed

Early when she got up she felt the pain

After the night’s rest she was heavy breathing

She had been here before but couldn’t remember

This pain was tightened and burned unlike any other

Her speech got labored and her panting got great

Managing to go work is a risk she couldn’t take

A better bet was to get to her doctor’s early

There was one is the neighborhood that she could see

It’s like deep sea diving and running out of air

Catching for more, inhaling hard but there is none there

And the surface is high and the light you can see

There is a sparkle which shines and offers delivery

The doctor is your hope but he is hours away

And yet there is immediate deliverance through pray

Coughs, colds, congestions, chronics and cancers He will Claire

Keep focus on Him and He will be your breath of fresh air
