The 3 R's - Religion
My feeling about
politics in the church has been evolving with time. I’m now bent on more
acceptance than ever before. But however many years will pass I can never
waiver on racially equality and when racism is practice witin any church then I
would never be able to accept that this is within the gambit of Christianity.
It bothers me profoundly when a reverend can go before his congregation and
preach these words of hatred in the guise of God’s word.

The 3 R’s – Religion Ranting and not preaching the words of the Lord Eclipsing His message with bitter discord Language I never expect to be ever voiced In God’s sanctuary where we worship and rejoice God I need a special strength to calm my despise I need to blank the behavior I witness with my eyes Once I heard this hatred and evil I turned to you Now I praying Father the others who heard , do too |
