Slips On The Hill

I have heard so much talk around the Presidential Nominations in the United States that I feel like I am an American. But what is it like for Americans? They seem so detached from politics when I ask them that I wonder how they will ever know to elect good Governance. I watch as they daily attempt to lynch a man who seem obviously a great patriot. Barack Obama has been described by some as being historical and is ranked among the greatest of all the best Presidents. Wow! And he isn’t a President yet!

Slips on the Hill

She is ready to start from day one

Lots of past experiences she can call on

In a crisis of natural disaster or threats of the enemy

Put all trust in her distorted memory?

Should we trust her to take that early call

Or should we leave it to the most unifying of all

Now today she claims that she misspoke

The trip to Bosnia was receiving the media poke

Hillary was not under fire and the only bullets she ducked

Emerged from reporters orally, the ones she never took

Her head was bowed down but never from fear

It seems she is poised to gore the DNC’s rear

Let’s not kid ourselves, if she has such a watchful eye

Living in the White House, how long was she living a lie?
