The 3 R's - Relaxation

I saw her and I could see her stressed body as it moved through the room. I think that she is overworked and under rested. It reminds me so much of me, going 15 hrs days for so long and only 2 hours sleep at night.  What is worst is dthat the people closest to us, our families, seem to never care enough to insist that we rest.  I’ve learnt, however late, that we need to rest even when we don’t feel like it. We have to train the body to take a rest when it has forgotten how to.

The 3 R’s – Relaxation

Rushing around all week tirelessly

Every task attended enthusiastically

Letting nothing obstruct you or get you to stray

And you awake ready to meet the challenges of the day

‘Xhausted but you give the best you can

And what you give seems more than any other man

This work you do begs you to do your best

It’s harder each day so on weekends you try to rest

Only your family around you seem to want even more

No one allows you to rest and stress builds up like before
