The Aftermathj

There is little we can don to prevent certain natural disasters. Indeed, many contracts exempt the occurrences of such, recognizing that the supposed “acts of God” and not within the control of man. And may be more devastating that any predictable dangers from man. When these dangers befall us, the only sure thing to do is turn to God.

The Aftermath

The roads bathe in death and panic

Houses were covered in the ash from it

Earthquakes had rumbles but the worst we had seen

All came from the Volcano that for years had been

Forgotten, believed dead, now faith too had died

The mothers were ignoring their babies when they cried

Everyone seemed hopeless, on the verge to give in

Ready to allow this brutal enemy to win

My heart beats strong and my spirit grew

All of what I’d seen, I already knew

That people can be stronger when they kneel and pray

Have faith in God and let Him guide the way
