The 3 R's - Relaxation

I tried relaxing but it seemed impossible. Sometimes it is just impossible, or so it seems, to get rid of a thought which wants to stick with you. It is equally difficult to conjure thoughts that are specific. All in all, concentration is at a low and when this happens, relaxation becomes even more difficult.

 

The 3 R’s – Relaxation

Ready for a day of quenching rest

Early this morning I started my quest

Looking to calm every ounce of me

And hoping to make a full recovery

Xcept I could get something out of my mind

And I grew more tired just trying to find

That word which eluded me since last night

I tried everything afforded me that I might

Only in vain, but then, I couldn’t believe my eyes

No one could believe, the word was “compromise”
