The Seeds We Have Sown

There is much controversy about harvesting in the Christian world. When Jesus sent out His first disciple to convert people to the word, it is my understanding that this is when He was instructing them to go plant the seeds of Christianity and harvest souls for the Lord. But the effort that the Lord put into nurturing our souls would require much more work than we put in, winning souls for Him.

The Seeds We Have Sown

The good farmer knows how to plant His seeds

He protects it from harsh weather and weeds

Enriches His garden with fertile soil

Sows the seeds with devoted toil

Every seed He attends with equal care

Each one it matters that they would bear

Developed souls enriched with the Savior’s light

Souls harvested by Him when the time is right

When we Harvest it takes time and hard work

Even requires us to turn in the mud and dirt

Hands may get soil but it’s all that we

Always secure the treasure and reap our bounty

Victory comes when we can celebrate

Every seed sown which we did cultivate

Souls which like a plant can grow bountifully

On good soil which we ploughed faithfully

When you toil remember never go without rest

Nor reap fruit you have no right to harvest
