Bowl Of Soup

I was surprised to learn that there was some conversation between Trinidad and Barbados over the Fisheries Agreement. With all the talk, I thought that this would take a war between these countries to decide where and who should fish in neighboring waters. Readers may remember that the present PM while in opposition told the public of Barbados that the discussion could have been held over a bowl of soup rather than the 12million dollars that it took. The bowl of soup is a figurative expression for over friendly terms.

Bowl Of Soup

Barbados Prime Minister went down to Trinidad

Ovation of culture and entertainment he had

Was more received than other dignitaries

Likes of Portia, Chavez and other celebrities

Our Prime Minister was treated with great respect

Fish agreement though discussed still isn’t solved yet

So Manning promised that by a next year date

Other Treaties will resolved the looming stalemate

Ultimately this matter only took the right group

Putting their heads together over a Bowl of Soup
