Wisconsin Primary

There is a magic in the air in America. The battle for Presidency continues to rouse the interest of the free world and as it should.  The influence of America on the rest of the world goes beyond anti-terrorist activity. The name of Obama resounds as far as Japan and surely here in the Caribbean.  I have seen many local bloggers showing there commitment to the Audacity of Hope.

Wisconsin Primary

Watching with anticipation for Barack to win

I was jumping channels from Fox to CNN

Searching to see who had the votes up to date

Curious for the split, I couldn’t wait

Only, I had to, they were creeping in

Now Obama was at 56% and I could hear him speaking

Someone he met today had a predatory loan

In a space of 2 weeks it had doubly grown

No way to turn, she sought help, right now

People clamored for change, we can do it somehow

Refrains were loud, they screamed, Yes we can

If you are ready for change Houston, then I’ve got a plan

Many reductions he listed taxes and health care

And all of these he promised within his first year

Ready for change then Houston we must first win

Yes we can American, this is Change we can Believe in
