Imani Is Two

I know a little baby girl who will turn two today. She is the child of one of my closest friends and from what I know is growing very well. Apart from the tradition growing problems, she is a gem of a child.

 

Imani is Two

I’m happy to know that she

Makes her parents very happy

And to know that she has grown

Nicer than the girl that I had known

I pray for you and look forward for the day

It would be easier to see you frolic and play

Such a joy this would bring to me

To watch you run about freely

Well until then Imani enjoy what you do
