The 3 R's - Relaxation

This is my chance to relax but like weeks before, I am disturbed by the noise in the neighborhood. Today, while I’m trying to listen to the ecumenical service, it’s drowned out with a noisy motorcade. How disrespectful!

 

The 3 R’s – Relaxation

Radio programs are quiet, the people await

Elected officials to be sworn into the new cabinet

Leaders were announced on national TV

And Bajans waiting for who’ll get a Ministry

X voted them into Government and now we know

All those mandated to carry on the political show

The swing in votes brought a new team

I pray their success and fulfillment of their dream

Our new Government brings new things

New hopes, new paths and new goals it brings
