The Barbados Free Press

I’m a strong advocate of the Blogosphere. I believe that people should be given a chance to be heard and that no Government or Nation has the right to curtail the freedom of speech. This doesn’t mean that I, in any way condone the promotion of violence, vulgarity or any of the other moral no nos. People need to censor themselves long before they expose their freedoms. The Barbados Free Press by its name alone has the potential to invite loose lips but through its proper administration, the opportunity to raise a nation

The Barbados Free Press

There are millions of blog entries made each day

Highlights of interest the bloggers need say

Engaging, riveting, sometimes just to provoke

Bloggers into lightheartedness with a harmless joke

And of these millions the authors prefer

Returning commentators who develop a culture

By their comments they too attract dialogue

Anonymously posted on the cultured blog

Dialogue which can go for many days

Often for weeks, it can truly amaze

Stimulating back and forth between strangers

Fanatics, friends with aliases and many others

Recently the entire Blogosphere Rated BFP

Eighth in the world for a specific entry

Election article asking if the DLP would have won

Promising nothing on Integrity Legislation

Rated #8 is a phenomenal achievement

Especially since in the WWW Barbados is a mere dent

So, well done you authors at The Barbados Free Press!

Salute the trophies of your extraordinary success
