They Say Leadership Matters Most

Leadership, all I keep hearing is leadership and how important it is, but how often we have learnt of great leaders who led millions astray. Leadership is more than an ability to lead. Until we can bring our people selflessly into greener pastures we are but beacons.

They Say Leadership Matters Most

Truer words have never been spoken

Honesty , integrity and loyalty unbroken

Exceptional calm to ride the raging storm

Yeomen conduct with progressive reform

Some view leadership as being charismatic

Alluring ability to attract like a magnet

You’ll probably agree but what you must know

Leadership is about helping your people to grow

Everyone can lead if they walk ahead

And directed their followers on the passage they led

Doesn’t matter if your works destroy a cousin

Egotistic, diabolical leaders are a dime a dozen

Regal leaders in days of old

Sentenced their families to tyranny untold

Hitler led many and was believed to be

Incredibly the most famous leader in Germany

Presidents who successfully led their nations

Made economical stability with ill gained billions

And religious leaders convince many to die

Their charisma and persuasiveness you could never deny

The manipulation of others through your authoritative lip

Erodes the ambits of good leadership

Realizing its not about you but about them

Sacrificing for others when you’re at the helm

Making decisions for others to reach their dreams

Organizing people in progressive positive teams

So we concur and our leader makes no wanton boast

That we believe that good Leadership matters most
