I Always Wish For More

How can I be contented and still wish that tomorrow is even better than today? Can I ever be satisfied with be satisfied? I wish for more. To Denise Shawn Moore Hynds

I Always Wish For More

It’s my favorite time of the year

At this time I spread love and good cheer

Love is returned from others to me too

When I hear family, friends and acquaintances new

And I remember the best times of these

Yesteryears when I got on the knees

Showed love in many ways as love came by me

With gifts and cheer lovingly

I remember the merriment, the music and feast

Shake hands from the nephew, hugs and kisses from the niece

Had great times with others in the family

Frolic with the young ones, chats with mommy and daddy

Oh how I wish for days like before

Regrettably there’re scarce, I wish for more

More love, more cheer, more joy to come

Oh how I wish these day were more than just some

Rejoicing, merriment friends, family and good cheer

Every one of these should come any time of the year
