Family Abroad

When we were children we always spent Christmases together, comparing gifts and playing games., generally having fun. I don’t know Christmas without family and love ones and I hope I never do

Family Abroad

For years you’ve been miles away

And I’ve wished you here many a day

My thoughts were on how we celebrated back then

I remember the merriment, the love and the sharing

Life was generous those many years ago

Your togetherness was obvious and loyalty would show

And though sentiments place me back in the pass

Bygone days when we celebrated Christmas

Right now I’m grateful for each moment today

Our exchanges we make from far away

And with this one I wish that I can share

Delighted Christmas and a prosperous New Year
