The Emergency

I got a call to tell me of the rush she had to make to the FMH emergency clinic. There they were able to sedate and control the problem but were unable to get a neurologist to see her. It would have been good for him to witness the symptoms in full blown. She was given an appointment for 4 Days later. I know from past experiences that6 this is a specials appointment since this doctor never sees anyone by appointment under 30 days and when you were lucky 2 weeks.

The Emergency

The relapse came and her body shook

Had no relief from medication she took

Emergency team worked busily together

Everyone pitching in and they sedated her

Mid-afternoon call came and there was much uncertainty

Elusive symptoms leaned towards neurology

Rafael told us her convulses had stopped

Got in contact with their last consulting Doc

Encouraged to see him on December 21st

Nice Tanny was to wait unless things got worst

Can’t understand why wait, why the doctors couldn’t today

You’d think from her distress, the 21st was too far away
