It's Christmas Eve

I tried all I can to give the true spirit of Christmas to all I came into contact with. There are some people that seem to get flustered at the thought of good cheer, love and giving. We didn’t all have the same paths and perhaps we are thoughtless not to understand the torment that people feel seeing happiness in others and know what awaits them at home, if there is any. Part of your good cheer on Christmas day is to understand the pain of others, try to get to the route of it and dispel it, wherever you can.

It’s Christmas Eve

I’ve told you but you didn’t listen to me

This night is for the Holly and the Ivy

It’s the Silent Night with halls in full Deck

Surprises and Mistletoes and gifts not open yet

Carols should be sung at the top of your voice

Hark the Herald and Good Christian Men Rejoice

Red apples dipped in chocolate

Incense burning as folk celebrate

So many people coming together

To enjoy the company of each other

Merriment and cheer and joyous wishes

And dinner served on our favorite dishes

So why pout and why does it appears

Eyes redden and dripping in tears

Very well! Unless you do, you’ll never believe

Ears open, I’ve been telling you, It’s Christmas, Eve!
