Get The Root Of The Problem

Got a problem you can’t seem to work out

Ever tried so many solutions you felt to shout

Took advice from others and still fall short

Tried the authorities but they could give no support

Have you exhausted all measures and found none to be

Effective in ridding you of your difficulty

Repeated efforts showed no progress

Or experimental treatments had no success

Old methods failed and current methods too

Technocrats seemed baffled at what to do

Out of ideas and feel to give in

Failure seem eminent and you could never win

Then comes a wise friend with an unusual idea

Her reasoning seem sound to stop your dismay

End the hardship of your recurring tight spot

Put a finish to why your lime tree would dry rot   

Resolve your problem by cutting down the tree

Oh, I’m glad now that I did never agree

By dripping water slowly to its main root

Letting it drip all night, the problem was minute

Early the next day the ants scrammed away

My solution was at the root, my problem ended that day
