Right Christmas

I’m dreaming of a White Christmas…actually, I live in the Caribbean and there are no snowy Christmases here. But I do love the song and all it portrays. Today, I received a message and am reminded of the Truth of celebrating Christmas, so now I dream of a Right Christmas

Right Christmas

Remembering what Christmas is to me

It’s not white, instead it’s right you see

Greetings announcing the birth of our King

Heralded as God’s gift our Saviour to bring

The invitations to enter into God’s Holy grace

Cleansed of all sins and to wear a new face

Having Peace with God through his Holy son

Righteousness through our faith, a spirit life begun

I dream of a Right Christmas and to receive

Strength, wisdom, power and riches and I believe

The Lord’s gift was given to shed his blood

Make right the wrong and make evildoers good

And I dream of better times when sins are past away

Such love and unselfish generosity, a Right Christmas Day

I agree on the fact we live in the Caribbean and will never see a white Xmas, but I still like the song any ways, your poem reminds that we should not lose sight of the true meaning of Xmas

      Hey Peter
Don’t get me wrong, I love that song. In fact, somewhere in my video library I’m sure to find the original movie which must have been dusted and ready for Christmas viewing. White Christmas is a favourite of my dad’s.

But we definitely can’t forget where the Right Christmas came from. Also, see the entry on Scratch up Xmas.

      Thanks for dropping in

      White Christmas
