The Walk Out

Sometimes we can shout our dissention more loudly by staging a walk out. If you feel strong enough about your position it is hard and sometimes morally wrong to remain at the round table of discussion. The thing about walking out is that it is best if people see clearly that you are dissatisfied and not assume your exit is a bathroom break.

The Walk Out

The committee declared war on my brothers

Halt discussions and would hear from no others

East Caribbean Island would feel their fury

When they release their economical tyranny

A decision I could not endorse

Loud out cries were futile, I had no recourse

Kept my loyalty and got up to walk

Out from these barbarians who abuse this peace talk

Unusual I know but for all things a time

Time today to protest their bias tempestuous crime
