It's The Final Countdown

Abuse of any kind comes from a coward or someone very sick. Both types need help but from professionals, not you. Why do so many people, especially women wait around for change, believing that they can solve the problem? The solution to the problem is separation followed by help from those who really can. Get out before you are taken out.

It’s The Final Countdown

I saw Oprah’s show, the woman was me

The story she told replayed my agony

She was abused and battered until she was blue

There was nothing she thought that she could do

Her husband had threaten to kill her boys

Every word she spoke started a noise

For years she’d been bruised and lived in shame

I was embarrassed at how our lives were the same

November last this monster clenched his fist

And beat her across the face then bound her wrist

Lashed her with the belt he took from his pants

Closed the door and silenced her with a piercing glance

Outraged and brutal he ripped away her clothes

Unable to fight back she laid indisposed

No pain was like this rear intrusion

Torn inside, bleeding and the mental confusion

Don’t know her but I know her heart

Oprah’s guest convinced me to start

With exit plans which I’ve set in motion

Now I’m waiting for Master to sleep from my potion
