Truth About Ruth

Here is to another one of my Birthday sisters who still smiles and embraces me warmly when we meet. Wherever she is today, I wish her well and hope she enjoys this day in a very special way.

Truth About Ruth

There once was a young lady

Really charming and undeniably pretty

Underneath her exterior beat a heart

That captured my attention from the start

Her smile could melt a mountain of snow

And her eyes packed a piercing blow

Beautiful she was but as time would teach

Our lives together was out of reach

Unlikely, impossible could never be that way

This beautiful girl shared my birthday

Related therefore by the stars and fate

Unfeigned affections would our lives complicate

The affections we shared had a different truth

Hugs and kisses today for my sister Ruth
