Monkey Business

Laughter is the best medicine, so they say. I’ve learnt that this isn’t really true but laughter does score right up there with eating healthy, lots of exercise and the rest of them. But if you are looking to disarm stress, laughter scores tops.

We are thankful to those who devote their lives for the entertainment of others and many of us recognize the dangers of walking the spot light. Shucks, when the light is turned on in the dance hall, we are all headed for cover. Kudos to all you who brave the spotlight and special mention to Madd Entertainment and Boyce Voice

Monkey Business

Mucking about even after forty

Offering tickets to a puppet monkey

Now Ali Singh questions playing the clown

Keeping up the jokes wearing his Indian gown

Entertaining people can be a noble career

You get to distress them and offer cheer

But for the performer it can be a façade

Using smiling faces when you’re feeling sad

So many people never get to see

Inside your heart, the real personality

Noble to cheer them and a hero you are

Every time you conjure smiles from afar

So pretend, make merry and live in abyss

Such is the life in the Monkey Business
