Midst of Trouble

Today’s promise was an extract from Psalm 138:7

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me:

I am humbled by Almighty God who carries our fate in His hand. The Bible tells us of how He wiped away many with the wave of His hand. With all of His power, why should I have any fear, He is working in my corner.

Midst of Trouble

My road sometimes takes me through the dark

I’m flanked by danger but I move like a shark

Darkness no longer presents a fear

Shadows are harmless because my God is near

Though I walk in the midst

Of trouble, I shall resist

Faith has lead me through this land

The Lord revives me and stretches out His hand

Right hand, against the wrath of my enemies

Oh Lord you know it’s you I trust and will to please

Under ever dark cloud, behind ever close door

Believing in your glory all the more

Lord I give you praise for all that you do

Exalt your name and I bow down to you
